The Story So Far...
CSiAWA H.A.D.A
FOUNDATION

Changing
Lives in the Heart of Communities
At the heart of H.A.D.A’s success is its hands-on leadership. The Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, a qualified nurse by profession, personally travels into the villages, using her medical expertise to care for residents. She often provides basic health checks, distributes medication, and supports local families who have little or no access to medical services. Her compassion and professional background embody CSiAWA’s belief that leadership means service.

This spirit of service runs through the entire organisation. All three board members actively participate in projects on the ground unafraid to get their hands dirty, whether that means planting seedlings on a farm, assisting in school construction, or joining a beach clean-up. Each director contributes their own skills, discipline, and technical experience, passing them down through training and mentorship across the CSiAWA companies.

Agriculture
and the Environment
CSiAWA has invested significant time and resources into protecting the environment and revitalising agriculture. The Group’s initiatives range from greening and reforestation programmes to biodiversity preservation, beach-cleaning campaigns, and reducing plastic waste particularly in rural villages and in Freetown City.

A cornerstone of this effort is the 100 Acres Plus Organic Multilayer Farming Project, which promotes ecological, regenerative farming with zero or minimal chemical inputs. The model preserves soil health, encourages natural crop diversity, and provides year-round food and income for rural families. Following its success in Magbafth Village, the project is now being extended to neighbouring communities, creating a nationwide network of sustainable farms that nourish both people and planet.
